The last day of the Congress was held at the Botanic Garden, treasure chest of beauty and biodiversity and splendid setting of The Zagara Festival, a market exhibition dedicated to gardening and floriculture, which promotes the mutualistic coexistence between man and nature, necessary to overcome the current environmental emergency.

The active participation of students was envisaged by setting up a space in which they could talk about their experience in project activities linked to the theme of the festival.

The photo exhibition and the workshops made the students the protagonists of the learning process.

In a playful way, the pupils were involved in activities that allowed them to activate the knowledge they had acquired and to rework it in a creative way,

giving a personal interpretation of what had been learnt previously and returning the results obtained to the rest of the school community and to a broader community.

Indeed, the workshops and photo exibition were attended by experts in the field as well as schools, students, families and their children, so broadening the impact of the project aims to a larger community.

Participants showcased their learning and experiences through curated photograph exhibition and explanation of board games that reflected key themes of the program (e.g., Mediterranean culture, heritage, identity).

The exhibition successfully attracted and engaged an audience (e.g., peers, educators, families, local community), sparking conversations and reflections.

The photos and displays served as a visual archive of the activities and outcomes, reinforcing educational objectives and providing material for future promotion or reports.

The Creation of Educational Resources (board games) may be reused for school displays or by other classes and schools so they are trasferable actions.

Students felt more confident discussing environmental issues and contributing to conservation efforts through informed action and increased their self esteem.
