Students were divided into 4 teams of 8 members. Each team had to create its team name from four words – one in English, one in Estonian, one in Italian, and one in Polish. The Olympics consisted of five main tasks, each combining sport challenges with language elements:

  1. Carry an egg on a spoon to the bench, exchange it for a quote about the International Day of Languages, and translate the quote into Estonian, Italian, and English.
  2. Teams 1 & 2 and Teams 3 & 4 collaborate. Each player has one throw (16 throws per team). Each successful throw wins a card with 5 letters. At the end, teams must form a word connected to the International Day of Languages.
  3. One member presents a movie title (chosen from one of ten envelopes). The rest of the team guesses it.
  4. Wheelbarrow race in pairs , then all members hold hands and pass a hula hoop without breaking the chain. Balloon challenge-: pairs lift balloons from waist to mouth without using hands. Each balloon contains a word. Teams must form a sentence from the four words in mixed languages..
  5. Relay consisting of 7 stages: sack race, three-legged race, skipping rope, dribbling, running backwards, table tennis bounce, and team cheering at the finish line. The baton contains a final task that all must complete together.
Students successfully completed all tasks, combining physical activities with multilingual challenges. They learned new vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and improved teamwork skills while having fun in a competitive setting.
