In the first part of the activity, the participants had a guided tour through the part of the National Museum of Serbia dedicated to the period of ancient Rome. With this tour, they supplemented their previously acquired knowledge during the course about the politics of the Roman state in these areas, about important processes, personalities, culture, architecture and way of life. Special emphasis was placed on art, namely on the rich collection of mosaics with floral and animal motifs and symbols of Roman mythology, which were mainly located in imperial palaces.

The inspiration was also the misused symbols that the participants heard about in the lecture that preceded this activity. In this part of the activity, the participants recalled what they saw during their tour of Roman Belgrade and their visit to Sirmium, comparing and noticing similarities and differences.

During the second part of the activity, the participants had the task of designing and creating their own mosaic within a limited period of time and inspired by what they saw and learned, both that day in the museum and in the previous days. Within 45 minutes, the participants first drew a model, and then "assembled" the pieces of the mosaic that depicted their shared experience. During this time, the participants collaborated, helped each other, exchanged ideas, and discussed.
