As part of the trilateral exchange, students from Poland, Serbia, and Romania explored the world of Art Brut—a raw, unconventional form of artistic expression. The activity began with documentary screenings showcasing the biographies and works of local Art Brut artists from the Płock region.

Following the screenings, students attended a lecture by a cultural expert from the local cultural center, who provided deeper insight into the history, philosophy, and significance of Art Brut. During the lecture on art brut, the project participants learned what kind of art it is, what its characteristics are, and what its history is. The lecturer talked about his passion for discovering art brut artists. He talked about his research work, which led to the creation and shooting of numerous documentaries and films on the subject.

We watched three short documentaries about local artists from the Płock area, who showed their works, told their stories. They also exhibit their works abroad, at international exhibitions. Then, representatives of each country - Poland, Romania and Serbia presented art brut artists from their countries. Thanks to this, we learned that art brut also exists in other countries, we saw their works and got to know their biographies.

During this art lesson we learned a lot about art brut; students from three countries developed presentations about the artists, which they presented at a forum at the Płock Culture and Arts Centre.
