First phase was to teach some parts of the history of Dunkirk, using its achievement (in the heraldic sens) as a support. By describing and contextualizing it, the goal was to underline that Dunkirk and its inhabitants behaved gallantly while the French kingdom and then the Republic was at war and it was acknowledged by the United Kindgom which awarded the city with the Distinguished service cross. The city was also awarded the French Legion d’honneur and two Croix de guerre (1917 and 1945) by its government.
Second phase was about discussing and sharing the civic and academic values in groups of 4 to 6 pupils. They could think of it as a group of pupils or a town. One goal of this step was for the pupils to discuss and exchange ideas and points of view about their future projects, and what qualities were the most important to have as a student or as a town. One way of doing it was to design a coat of arms for the group of pupils, or for a city.
Third and final phase was about getting familiar with AI, and writing prompts in order to change the resulting picture to the desired image. The students had a list of free sites to use, and could choose one of them. In the end, those who had finished the task presented their work to the rest of the class.

The pupils were quite thrilled to use AI image generators, and some of them were doing it for the first time. Also, theyhave shared important ideas, and visions about what they share. Also some of them presented the main values wich are promoted by their schools. Some of the productions are attached.
