This educational activity is part of the action "Actwithin the Erasmus+ RACINE+ project. After a careful analysis of the city, and after having carried out various photographic surveys in the historic center, the students developed a project.

They were divided into two groups. A first group developed a skyline, with a graphics software, of the main monuments of the city with historical and cultural elements related to gastronomy and religion (both architectural and vegetal). The second group, instead, painted the skyline on five wooden boards measuring 70x100 cm

The project is part of the cultural, historical and artistic heritage of our city. Students reflected on the meaning of murals and their artistic and social function. They reflected on the meaning of representing their city and the history that represents it through art and visual expression.

In this educational activity, which is part of the action "ACT" within the Erasmus+ RACINE+ project, students illustrated the creation and display of the mural they created and also acquired knowledge of visual language.

The mural was inaugurated at the opening of the RACinE+ congress week in Palermo. The posters were exhibited at the conference on May 17th at the Zagara festival in Palermo (Botanic garden). .
