Yesterday we had the pleasure of leading a group of Erasmus students from Estonia, Servia and France, through this charming city, and it was an experience to remember. We kicked off our day at the beautiful Parque da Cerca, where we enjoyed a leisurely stroll amidst the lush greenery. The serene atmosphere was perfect for some group discussions about the importance of nature in our lives.

Our next stop was the Museu do Vidro, which captivated my students with its fascinating displays of glass art. We was thrilled to see their curiosity as they learned about the region’s rich glass-making traditions. It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss craftsmanship and its role in cultural identity.

After our educational adventures, we wandered into the town center, where we indulged in some local cuisine. I encouraged my students to try the famous “pastéis de nata,” and their delighted reactions were priceless!

To wrap up our day, we headed to Praia da Vieira, just a short drive away. The stunning beach provided a perfect backdrop for reflection and relaxation. As we enjoyed the sun and surf, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the vibrant blend of tradition and modernity that Marinha Grande offers, leaving us all with unforgettable memories of this beautiful Portuguese gem.
