Manipulation in 2 stages :

- Pairs of students hold two colorless liquids in front of them. The aim is to find out where the water is. To do this, they perform a chemical test using anhydrous copper sulfate, which turns blue in the presence of water and remains white in the absence of water. Two small piles of anhydrous copper sulfate are placed in a dish, and a few drops of liquid are poured onto one of the piles. The pile where the anhydrous copper sulfate turns blue is the one where they poured the water. As a result, the other pile of copper sulfate remains white, indicating that the liquid contains no water.
- The students heated water in a flask using a flask heater and left it to boil for 10 minutes. At the end of this time, they stopped heating and closed the flask with a cork. They then poured cold water over the balloon, and the water inside the balloon began to boil again.
- Manipulation in the office : A plastic ruler is rubbed with a piece of wool and brought close to a trickle of water running from the tap. Without touching the water, it is deflected from its trajectory. This demonstrates the electrostatic properties of water. This proves that the water molecule is polar.

Water is important for life on Earth we need to preserve it.

We are the only planet where water exists in all three states of matter. Water is a precious commodity that must be preserved. It is more precious than gold on the scale of the Universe.
