PT25 EC Sustainable agriculture activity
24 mars 2025Each student was randomly given a card with one of the plant species to be cultivated, and they tried to form groups of different nationalities.
On the tables, there were nine trays, with material for each species to be cultivated and the procedure to be carried out. Each group took the respective tray and followed the instructions.
Lettuce, strawberries and tomatoes were planted, adding soil to fix them.
Aromatic herbs such as parsley, mint, coriander and basil were sown in the beds.
Spinach and arugula were also sown.
At the end, all the beds were irrigated.
The beds for cultivation and planting were prepared in advance with recycled materials, such as plastic bottles, ropes, wooden pallets and plastic garbage bags.
