RO HA Cultural Diversity Day

The 9th graders chose various countries to represent, researching their history, traditions, and culture, and then sharing their findings through workshops, presentations, debates, posters, and music videos in the school hall.For instance,9A chose Greece, 9B chose Spain, 9C chose Portugal, and 9D chose Slovenia. Each group created engaging posters and presentations, learning some basic words in the languages of their chosen countries. The event was a tremendous success, blending fun with educational experiences.The school hall was adorned with colorful posters depicting historical landmarks, cultural festivals, traditional attire, and cuisine. Students eagerly shared their research, making their presentations both educational and engaging.Workshops were a highlight of the day. The Spain group organized a speaking workshop, demonstrating basic Spanish words and inviting others to join. The Greek team hosted a culinary workshop, teaching classmates how to make traditional Greek products. The Slovenia group set up an art and craft session, showcasing traditional Slovenian crafts and allowing participants to create their own pieces.Presentations were captivating, using multimedia like slideshows, videos, and music to make sessions interactive. Debates on topics such as the impact of tourism on cultural heritage and preserving traditional practices encouraged students to think critically about cultural issues.
