Polish, Estonian, and Italian students had the opportunity to introduce themselves and present their schools. Each group prepared a short but creative presentation, starting with general facts about their country and city, and then moving on to the description of their school life. They explained the structure of the educational system in each country, pointing out the length of compulsory education, the most important school subjects, and the way exams are organized. The Polish group focused on their national curriculum, while the Estonians presented the strong role of digital tools in everyday learning. The Italian students emphasized the cultural richness of their school environment and highlighted artistic activities that are part of their education. Apart from presenting the systems, all groups also shared their schools’ experiences with international cooperation. They described their participation in European projects, such as Erasmus+, which gave them the chance to work with peers from abroad, develop language skills, and build friendships across borders. Finally, the groups explained what kind of additional activities are offered to students in their schools. Thanks to the exchange of experiences, all participants gained a deeper understanding not only of the educational systems but also of the opportunities that schools create for young people to learn, cooperate, and prepare for the future in an international community.
The students met their peers from other countries participating in the project, with whom they will spend the entire week. They established their first contacts and acquaintances. They dared to communicate in English.
