RO26 TD – Live Traditions-3D Creations
05 mars 2026In the third day of the international project meeting in Bacau, students and teachers engaged in a comprehensive workshop dedicated to the traditional Romanian Spring celebrations, focusing on Mărțișor. The session provided an in-depth exploration of the cultural customs, historical background, and symbolism associated with this enduring tradition. Participants gained insight into the diverse ways Mărțișor is celebrated across various Romanian regions, emphasizing both unique variations and common threads. They also created 3D objects related to the project logo, the partner schools logos.
Utilising the school’s Smart Lab, attendees embraced modern technology to enrich their experience. They employed advanced tools like 3D printers to craft distinctive objects inspired by Mărțișor motifs, merging creative expression with practical skills. This hands-on approachallowed both students and teachers to actively connect with cultural heritage through digital design and fabrication.
By integrating tradition with innovation, the workshop enhanced understanding of Romanian cultural identity while fostering valuable competencies in technology. This multidisciplinary experience encouraged appreciation of the past alongside engagement with future possibilities.
