RO EP Exercise for a Safe environment
09 avr. 2026During the months March and April, the science teachers introduced to their classes (3 science classes, 16 years old) lessons focused on introducing innovative technologies related to bicycles. Students explored various devices designed to be installed on bicycles, which enable generate electricity through pedaling. This practical approach allowed students to understand how human energy can be converted into electrical power, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional energy sources. Furthermore, the students were informed about the recent development of bicycle corridors within their town. These corridors are equipped with solar-powered charging stations that allow cyclists to recharge mobile phones and other electronic gadgets while on the move. This forward-thinking initiative serves a dual purpose: it not only encourages the use of bicycles as a mode of transport, thereby promoting environmental cleanliness, but also aims to reduce dependence on traditional vehicles that contribute to pollution.
During the Green Week at the school ( March 2026), students organized bike trips along these routes. By utilizing these eco-friendly charging stations located along bicycle routes, students could enjoy listening to music or recharge their devices, demonstrating the practical benefits of sustainable energy solutions. The program fostered a deeper awareness among students about the importance of energy conservation and environmental responsibility, motivating them to adopt greener habits and support the transition towards a more sustainable future. Through hands-on learning and community engagement, the initiative empowered young individuals to become proactive advocates for environmental stewardship and innovation in clean energy technologies.
