SB26 LG - Love is in the air

The activity “Balloons Full of Kind Words / Messages in the Air” was designed as an interactive and emotionally engaging group exercise aimed at strengthening connections among students. Each student received a balloon, inflated it, and wrote their name on it in capital letters. Once all balloons were prepared, students stood in a circle and participated in a dynamic game where all balloons were tossed into the air at the same time.

The main challenge was to keep every balloon in the air, symbolically emphasizing collective responsibility and mutual care. Students moved around the space, cooperating and reacting quickly to ensure that no balloon fell to the ground, reinforcing the idea of supporting one another.

After the first round, students stopped the activity, picked one balloon at random, and read the name written on it. If a student picked their own balloon, they exchanged it with a peer. They were then asked to write a short, positive message for the owner of the balloon, such as a compliment, wish, or encouraging note.

The activity was repeated in several rounds, allowing students to receive messages from different classmates. In the final phase, students returned the balloons to their owners, personally handing them over while sharing smiles and positive emotions.
