The visit to the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia (RHMZ) was particularly memorable, as students had the opportunity to observe the launch of a meteorological balloon, a procedure carried out daily at the same time in meteorological stations around the world. This experience helped students understand how weather data is collected in a systematic and standardized way and how it is used for weather forecasting and climate analysis.
In addition, students gained insight into the work of meteorologists and the importance of continuous monitoring of atmospheric conditions for predicting weather changes and extreme events. The visit provided a clear connection between scientific measurements and their practical applications in everyday life, highlighting the global dimension of meteorological cooperation and data exchange.
