PL25 EC Circular and fast fashion show

Before the project, students from a Polish high school organized a collection of used clothes among the school's students. They made a selection and prepared clothes for this activity. In this way, they sensitized others to the threat posed by the clothing industry, which produces huge amounts of unnecessary clothes, which we then, sometimes unnecessarily and thoughtlessly, buy. The students, working in groups, were tasked with preparing and designing an outfit consisting of used clothes. They divided the tasks in groups, working as fashion designers and models.

Such teams collaborate on preparing some outstanding outfits, focused on self-expression from previously collected second-hand clothes and accessories. The outfits are presented during the fashion show, which is also directed and run by the students. 

The fashion show was prepared by the students themselves: background music, professional lighting, stage preparation, photography.

Plenty of photos and films from the event are shared on the school social media sites.

The result was a professional fashion show prepared by students who, working in international groups, prepared the entire event: a clothing collection was organized among school youth, the scenography, lighting, music were prepared. Then, in design groups, an outfit was designed, which the model presented during the show. A video of the show was recorded and photos were taken. The whole action was distributed on school social media as an action promoting sensible clothing purchases in order to reduce the negative impact of the clothing industry on the planet.
