The students were divided into international groups. The first stage of their work was a discussion on school uniforms. Does it make sense, would they like them to be introduced in their schools, what are the pros and cons of such a solution? In groups, they talked, also presenting the situation in their countries. It is different in each country, they have different experiences. They know from their parents' experience how it was in the past. Today, young people can express their opinion, learning to respect the opinions of others. Everyone has the right to think differently. Together they reached some common conclusions, being aware that opinions are different and divided. Surely after this discussion everyone is aware of the good and bad sides of introducing school uniforms. 

The next task for each group was to design a school uniform for an international school student. The students worked in international groups. So they took into account the tastes, fashion and preferences of each member of the group. They drew a school uniform, which they then presented on stage in front of the whole group, justifying their choice, colors, symbols and all the elements present on the uniform.

All the works are displayed and the best design is chosen. Various ways of expressing personal identity through different outfits, patters and colours are also taken into consideration.


Students from all countries collaborate together to find the best possible solutions to support local sustainable development related to overconsumption of fast fashion and animal homelessness. All participants  improve their knowledge about fashion threats and become aware what steps can be undertaken in schools to prevent this phenomenon from spreading in their local communities. Due to students imagination and creativity a few designs of school uniforms  are created and one is chosen as a pattern for an international school. Taking part in a discussion about self-expression through outfits they realize how much they have in common and improve their speaking skills in English.
