SB25 HA City within a city: Let’s explore our cities in similarities!
11 avr. 2025The city tour started from four different locations. Prior to the tour, students were divided at school into four OCTOgroups (groups of eight students: four Serbian, two Romanian, and two Polish students). Each group visited the same eight locations — the National Assembly, National Theatre, National Museum, Pobednik (The Victor monument), Saborna Crkva (Cathedral Church), the ruins of the National Library at Kosančićev Venac (destroyed during WWII), the Rectorate of the University of Belgrade (Njegoš statue), and the Students' Park (Monument to Dositej Obradović).
Groups started at different points, following different routes:
At each location, Serbian students presented the significance of the site to their Romanian and Polish peers. Together, the students discussed and identified one similarity and/or one difference between Belgrade, Płock, Bacău, and Warsaw related to each site. They also took photos at each stop to document their experience.
On the final day of the exchange, a reflective discussion was organized. Students had the opportunity to share their impressions of Belgrade, thus deepening their understanding of both their own and other cultures.
