During seven weeks, 4th grade students will carry out their own inquiry on a locally or globally important topic. Students will choose their research topic based on their personal interests. Each student will be supported and guided by a teacher.

In compiling their work, students made connections and connected their topic to local and global challenges, facing humanity today. Students explored topics ranging from artificial intelligence and carbon emissions to the spread of dangerous challenges on social media and healthy eating. For the practical part of their project, students conducted interviews and surveys, created short films and animations, painted pictures and designed clothes, built models and miniatures. Students presented research findings at an exhibition for the whole school community.
