IT26 HA CAE Artistic workshop linked to Sicilian folklore: Sicilian majolica
16 févr. 2026After listening to the history of Sicilian majolica, the students were introduced to the technique used to create the tiles.

They worked with small white wooden boards, paper, stencils and small sponges to apply acrylic paints on the wooden boards.

Then, the students were able to express their creativity by producing colourful reproductions of traditional majolica tile. Finally, felt pads were applied to the underside of the board so that the majolica could also be used as a coaster or a trivet.
