The day was spent mostly in MSCDN, that is the Mazovian Teacher Training Centre in Płock. The participants were given an opportunity to visit the centre, become acquainted with its educational activity, see the STEAM Room, Assembly Hall, where conferences are held and a modern studio where supporting materials and tutorials for teachers are video recorded. However, the most significant element of the visit was the participation in the workshop “E-learning tools that activate students in foreign language classes”. It was conducted by Emilia Ziółkowska and Marcin Jaroszewski – methodological advisers supporting language teachers in MSCDN with help from Małgorzata Gasik, who talked about the most important interdisciplinary projects of the institution. The teachers could increase their knowledge and improve their teaching abilities through introduction of various platforms, tools and applications that can be implemented during lessons of various subjects, e.g. Padlet, Lyrics Training, Study Fetch, Gemini, Suno, Glite or Speechace, Gamma or Learning Apps. The tools could be used for creating visuals, worksheets, sound materials, presentations and assessment instruments. The participants were also shown practical examples of applying the tools in the classroom.
