PL CC A day without waste
07 mai 2026
It's a common action organised by Poland. For the “Day Without Waste” event, a group of students took the lead in organizing the activity “ A day without waste”. The main goal was to raise awareness about reducing daily waste and promoting the use of reusable containers. In preparation for the event, students designed an eye-catching poster and shared it widely on the school’s social media accounts and website to reach the whole school community. On the day of the event, both students and teachers brought their food and drinks in reusable bottles and lunch boxes, avoiding any disposable packaging. Throughout the day, photos were taken to document participation and engagement. These photos were later uploaded to the school’s social media as a way to celebrate the community’s effort and inspire others to take similar action.
Partner schools were asked to send the event coordinator (Polish school) a digital version of their posters in JPG and PDF formats, along with one best photo representing their participation (UNTIL 20/04/2026). The event helped to strengthen environmental awareness, teamwork, and responsibility among students while promoting sustainable daily habits. It also developed the sense of unity and pride in contributing to a greener school environment.
