As part of the project activities, students from the four partner countries presented innovative initiatives and environmental projects implemented in their schools to promote sustainable development, raise environmental awareness, and encourage responsible attitudes towards nature and the local community.

During the session, students introduced their peers to a variety of successful activities that have had a positive impact on both school life and the wider community. Through presentations, discussions, and the exchange of experiences, participants gained insight into different approaches to environmental education and learned how small actions can contribute to meaningful change.

Students from Romania presented several initiatives aimed at reducing waste and encouraging responsible behavior, including the “Day Without Trash” campaign, an eco-parade, and a paper collection campaign. They explained how these activities help students develop environmentally friendly habits while actively contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.

The presentation from Portugal focused on the “Eco-Schools” project, which promotes sustainability through a range of practical activities. Students learned about waste separation and recycling practices, electronic waste collection campaigns, and a creative initiative that encourages reading and reuse through the exchange of previously read books at symbolic prices. These activities demonstrate how environmental responsibility can be successfully integrated into everyday school life.

Students from France shared examples of projects designed to improve both the school environment and students’ well-being. Their presentation highlighted the creation of green spaces for relaxation and reading, the development of a school garden, and the improvement of sports facilities that promote healthy lifestyles while supporting sustainable use of outdoor spaces. These initiatives illustrated the connection between environmental sustainability, health, and quality of life.

Representing Serbia, students introduced the project dedicated to mason bees and their importance for biodiversity, pollination, and ecosystem preservation. Through their presentation, they explained the crucial role these solitary bees play in maintaining healthy natural environments and highlighted actions that schools and communities can take to protect pollinators and support biodiversity.

The activity provided an excellent opportunity for students to exchange ideas, compare experiences, and learn from one another. Through active participation, discussions, and questions, they developed a broader understanding of sustainability challenges and solutions across different countries. The session encouraged international cooperation, inspired new project ideas, and motivated participants to implement similar environmental initiatives in their own schools and communities. By sharing good practices, students demonstrated that young people can play an important role in creating a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future behaviour.
